Repeat Prescriptions

The online repeat prescription service has changed.

The original method required patients to input their medications requests manually via this website (previously at the bottom of this webpage). In the interest of safety we no longer provide this method. Instead we are encouraging all of our patients to register for “patient access" (powered by EMIS) which is a safer method to order your repeat prescriptions as once registered, it automatically lists your available repeat prescriptions. This service also allows patients to book certain appointments online.

To register for the service please download and complete a patient access registration form (click here for word document) (click here for pdf) and bring this along with either your passport or driving licence as a proof of identification. The application will be processed and can take up to 1 to 2 weeks. You will be contacted via email (from EMIS - our computer software) once the registration process is complete. Please click on the patient access tab on the left hand side of the screen if you wish to find out more about the it or the icon below to utilise the service.

Repeat Prescriptions can be ordered by telephone or online or in person at the GP surgery.

We encourage the use of "patient access" to order your repeat prescriptions online as it is the most accurate and convenient for patients. Please click on the above links.

You can also use the surgery website to order your repeat medications. Please see below.

The prescription line (01823 433995) is operational between 10:00 - 12:00 and 14:00 - 16:00.

Alternatively drop off the repeat prescription slip to the front desk of reception.

As of 1st of April 2015, you will no longer be able to leave a message on the answerphone to re order your medications.

Please give four working days' notice prior to picking your medications from the pharmacy.

Please note - All repeat prescriptions are regularly reviewed by your Doctor. This may mean that you will be asked to be seen before allowing your prescription to be processed.
