UPDATE – please contact the surgery to book your flu jab. Our first couple of flu clinic will be the morning of Friday 15th and Saturday 16th October 2021. We will post further dates later in the season. You may have seen the articles in the news relating to a national delay in vaccine delivery to GP surgeries. In the event of the vaccines being delayed even further, we may need to contact you so please ensure we have your mobile phone telephone number.
Due to patient safety and social distancing in mind, we are not holding walk-in clinics for flu vaccination this year. Patients will be instead be required to attend on a set day/time. There will be separate clinics for those aged 50 to 64, aged over 65 and those aged 18-64 (in an at risk group). We will be initially calling those in the over 65 group and those in an at risk group. Children who are eligible for flu vaccination will be invited to their own separate clinic. For pregnant ladies, please speak to your midwife Beth as she will co-ordinate the vaccination at the surgery.
We will do our very best to keep waiting times to a minimum. Please help us to do this by being punctual, only attending during your allocated time slot and by having your arm exposed ready for vaccination. There will be no waiting area inside the building, so please come prepared for all types of weather.
The surgery will operate a one way system – please enter via the front entrance and you will be greeted by a member of staff. There will be signage to guide you on the day. Once vaccinated please leave at the side of the building in the main car park area.
All patients will be required to wear a face covering (please bring your own if possible).
