Dr Rianne Sewell
MRCGP DRCOG DFFP (Amsterdam 1993)
Dr Sewell works full time in the practice. She takes a special interest in heart disease and women’s health and is the Child Protection lead for the practice. She takes responsibility in the practice for clinical governance, staff issues and is the Practice representative for the Taunton Central Primary Care Network.
Dr David Yick
B Med Sci BM BS (Nottingham 1996) DFFP MRCP MRCGP
Dr Yick works full time in the practice and takes a special interest in diabetes and psychiatry. He is the practice lead for information technology and information governance.
Our Nursing Staff
Chris Gregory
Advanced Paramedic
Chris joined our surgery in May having worked in A&E and also Taunton Vale surgery. Chris sees patients in his minor illness clinics and is able to refer and prescribe.
Lynn Carey
Sister Lynne maintains the health of our respiratory patients as well as being involved in all aspects of general practice nursing. Lynne is also a key member of the local symphony project empowering and helping patients to manage their long term chronic medical conditions.

Gill Robinson
Sister Gill maintains the health of our diabetic patients as well as being involved in all aspects of general practice nursing. Gill previously has experience in general practice having previously worked at the French Weir GP practice.

Sue Hawthorne
Sister Sue joined in 2015 and is involved in all aspects of general practice nursing. Sue performs the NHS health checks and also specialises in respiratory medicine.

Samantha Searle
Sam joined the team in 2021 and is a phlebotomist. She has worked mainly in Musgrove park hospital prior to moving to general practice. Sam is responsible for phlebotomy but is also expanding her skills in performing ECGs and blood pressure checks within the surgery.

Associated Staff
Associated staff are not employed by the practice but are based in the surgery to provide care for our patients.
Musculoskeletal practitioner
Chris Edwards and Megan Adcock are a musculoskeletal practitioners whom are working at the surgery as a result of funding from the Taunton central primary care network. Chris and Megan are able to help patients with their orthopaedic problems on a Wednesday and Thursday respectively.

Claire Sibley is the Health Visitor who covers our practice area and works with children under five and their parents.
Midwife
Emma Bretherton is the Midwifery Community Nurse who provides antenatal care in the practice.
